Futaba Programming Sheets
Model aircraft transmitters with up to 12 model memories are fine, but what happens if you loose the stored data ? There is no back up copy and re-entering the data, even if you knew what it was, could take hours, with no guarantee of success. What about when you buy a new Tx. Most of the data is entered on a trial and error basis until you find a set of parameters that work well. Repeating these entries exactly may be almost impossible, at the best it will take time. Doing it at the flying field under pressure is virtually impossible. To avoid most of these problems I have produced (largely for my own use) a set of Data Sheets that I have placed on my website. This gives me the ability to recall these setting almost anywhere in the known universe. In the event of data loss, or to use a new or borrowed Tx. the data can be downloaded and re-entered with the confidence that it will be accurate. It is of course important to keep the data up to date. I hope you will find the basic idea of some value and trust you may never need to use them.
