The Model Engineering Suppliers Database

This a fully Searchable Index of the Model Engineering Suppliers who advertise in Model Engineer, Model Engineers' Workshop and Engineering in Miniature. It only lists companies directly involved in Model Engineering. This ensures that the database is kept to a manageable size and is 100% relevant to the Model Engineers' needs.

Details of how to search the Excel files, for this and the other Model Engineering Databases can be found at Search.html Please note that these instructions are designed for the much larger Magazine Indexes, but the method of operation is identical. The Excel Supplier Index is not 'zipped' due to its small size.

Although every care has been taken to ensure accuracy, mistakes do happen. If any of the details are incorrect, or have recently changed please let me know.

Alan J Munday has kindly produced a very useful program that enables you to search the Model Engineering Indexes in a much more "user friendly way" The latest version allows printing of results and also produces a .csv file output. You do not need Microsoft Excel installed on your PC. Files included are:- Model Engineer, Engineering in Miniature, Model Engineers' Workshop and the Supplier Index. You will need to download and install the Magazine Index Search Engine and then add the latest Index Data files. These are self extracting files and will overwrite any obsolete files provided you are using the default C:\Program Files\Index file location.

Download the latest version of the Magazine Index Search Engine A counter has been added to show "something is going on" and you can search all the data fields at once. Redundant .csv files can be deleted as required.
