The 'Magazine Search Engine' enables easy searching of all five Indexes, facilitates printing of results and also produces a .csv file output which can be further refined as required. You do not need Microsoft Excel installed on your PC. Files included are:- Aeromodeller, Engineering in Miniature, Model Engineers' Workshop, Model Engineer & a Model Engineering Suppliers Index.
You will need to download and install the 'Magazine Index Search Engine' and then add the latest 'Index Data Files' These are self extracting files and will overwrite any obsolete files provided you are using the default C:/Program Files/Index file location. See note below for multiple hard drives.
Download the latest version of the 'Magazine Search Engine'
A counter has been added to show something is going on and you can search all the data fields at once.
Download the latest 'Index Data Files'
When you download the 'Index Data Files' you will get the first 5 files listed below. You can delete any unwanted files as required or you can download the individual Microsoft Excel files as required.. Details on how to search Microsoft Excel files and other Spreadsheets can be found at Search.html

Model Engineer Volume/Issue Index
This is a useful software routine to assist in the compilation and modification of .csv style Databases. Once installed its method of use is more or less self explanatory.
Multiple Hard Drives:- By default the "Magazine Search Engine" will load into your "C" drive at C:\Program Files\Index and the "Index Data Files" will load into this file automatically. If required you can copy the entire contents into any drive you require. Create a desktop icon as required. When updating the "Index Data Files" you have to option to specify which drive to update.
